My office is conveniently located in South Arlington on Mayfield Road just west of Cooper Street near Interstate 20.  I practice in Dallas, Tarrant and surrounding counties exclusively in the area of family law, including divorce, custody, child support, modification, paternity, private adoption, marital agreements and mediation. 

I am an experienced, seasoned attorney.  I represent my clients aggressively and zealously.  I am thorough, organized, intelligent and driven.  I return my phone calls.  I care about my clients and I fight vigorously and tirelessly for their rights.  When I walk into the courtrom, I have a complete and accurate understanding of both the law and the facts of my case.  I am always prepared.  I am well respected by the Judges and by my peers.  I am courteous and respectful toward other attorneys, but I will never allow them to take advantage of my clients.  I am fair and honest.  My integrity is worthy of your complete trust.

My philosophy in my practice is that you and I are a team.  We work together in developing and implementing a strategy that will achieve the best possible outcome in the case.  We decide together what the goals are and what the strategy should be.  I advise you of all the possibilities, the costs, and the potential risks and gains.  I empower you with knowledge, because with that knowledge you will have the power to control those aspects of your case that can be controlled.

I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas.  I graduated high school in 1979, college in 1982 and law school in 1984.  I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and my law degree from Baylor University School of Law in Waco, Texas.  I am a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association and the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association.  I am licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Texas in all state courts, and I am licensed to practice in the United States Federal Court in the Northern District of Texas.
